Cammach Group can supply state of the art dampers to suit the requirements of the offshore oil industry. Constructed from stainless steel and activated by pneumatics or electric actuators, dampers can be constructed as:

Air Filtration and Moisture Elimination
Cammach DCF is a series of advanced tailor made ready-to-install air intake systems for use in many application areas. They provide excellent protection against all types of droplets as well as particle filtration throughout a broad range of face velocities.
Cammach DCF air intake systems are two stage separation systems. High performance vane type mist eliminators are used in the first stage. This removed the majority of entrained liquid droplets. Various types of filter/coalescers are used in the second stage which filters solid particles and eliminates mist particles that have passed through the first stage. A high efficiency filter in the first stage protects the filter/coalescaer in the second, thereby prolongs the service life.
Extremely small, but harmful droplets which cannot be totally removed by any single stage mist elimination system are eliminated by Cammach DCF systems. The efficiency is fully independent of wind direction and the occurance of so-called second droplets.
Cammach DCF intake systems are an excellent choice to keep marine – and offshore based ventilation systems protected against all kinds of weather such as rain, fog, splash water and especially spray containing harmful sea salt. They are also perfect for use in ventilation systems for buildings and coastal areas. Cammach DCF help to improve the climate for people, interior furtnishing, cargo spaces as well as sensitive equipment. The systems are fully configurable. Options include various marine grade materials, flange positions, drainage system, bird screens, coloured surfaces and many others.
UV Air sterilisation
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses ultraviolet (UV) light at sufficiently short wavelength to kill micro organisms. It is effective in destroying the nucleic acids in these organisms so that their DNA is disrupted by the UV radiation.
This removes their reproductive capabilities and kills them. Cammach Group supply Steril-Aire UV air sterilisations systems because it can clean up to 99.9% of mould, bacteria and viruses on the coil of HVAC systems and for 2-4 times longer time than competitive UVC devices.
Steril-Aire's UVC emitters and fixtures are ideal for internal installation in medium to large air handling systems in commercial, industrial and offshore rigs, platforms and vessels. Steril-Aire fixtures may be mounted singly, in built-up banks or in parallel configurations in a variety of locations, including coils, drain pans, ductwork, mixed air plenums and exhaust systems to kill harmful pathogens, viruses and moulds within these environments. Fixtures may also be ceiling or wall mounted for speciality applications.
Using UV Air sterilisation prevents the spread of diseases, ‘sick building syndrome’ and generally improves air quality thereby increasing productivity and reducing absenteeism. Costs are reduced with up to 15% energy saving, elimination of manual coil cleaning and other benefits which mean a return on investment in less than 2 years.
